Who'd You Vote For?

Posted on Tue, Nov 4, 2008

I won't preach that you should go out and vote, because you've either heard it a hundred times today, or you're living in a cave. But I am curious who you loverly readers voted for. So it's poll time!

No one since I'm not U.S. of A, but if I could, I would vote Obama. His view on exterior politics is much more geared towards co-operation *with* and restoring America's image *to* the outside world.

Plus I find his proposed solutions concering debt and the financial crisis pretty creative, which in my view is a good thing. Still has to be seen if they are all *feasible* but I like the 'thinking-outside-of-the-box'.

I unfortunately had issues with becoming a registered voter of Illinois due to my move and the timing of everything, so I must say that I'm very disappointed for not voting this election. In 2004 I casted my vote for John Kerry. This year, I would have proudly voted for Barack Obama. I must say though, that even though I was unable to vote, I did my part in trying to work with those who were undecided by showing them the good-natured ways of Barack Obama.

I would have thought even more people would have voted. There has been a lot of canvasing going on, 60 some percent of the eligible population voting is still low. So many other countries do better.
