HoogieBlue :

Wow, it's boring, AND it's four minutes long. Good combination.

JoshyBlue :

i like the simple arrangement... it gives it a nice immediacy.. the guitar tone is real nice and the guitar riff is cool... vocals are nice and warm and you feel 'em. overall i like the warmth of the track. the drums are cool. wow pretty cool the way it kicks in there. and.. again with the solo. reminds me a bit of wilco. but not that much. wow the instrumental section is really great. i like the sort of slight dissonance in there... it gives it a bit of power to it... the lyrics .. what i heard of them - didnt interest me at all (but i'm not really a lyrics person so i dont care). but yeah the music was pretty great. this is a probable vote. probably voting for josh woodward

Abecdarian :

One of the best producers on songfight. The drum run at 1:10 wasn't quite right but I saw what you were going for and it would've been perfect. Sparse but not thin. 2:15 and 2:26 are nice - they hint at 3:02. 8, 9, 9 (Song, Performance, Production)

The Human Cello :

4 stars. (vote)

Kapitano :

I love this one. I Like everything about it - voice and lyrics, drum and guitars. the sparseness and the way it builds. This is somehow epic without being overblown. Vote.

Jim of Seattle :

(Pretty Good) I kept waiting for the song to start. This sounds like a mellow introduction preceding a real song, except that the introduction is the whole song, and there's no real song. at 3:00 you kind of get going, but it's way too late by that time, and as you're playing the same changes there, I'm not successfully pulled out of the daze the previous three minutes has lulled me into. Bottom line, this just isn't musically interesting enough to hold my interest.

ok WHOSE FAULT is it you haven't ever been to texas? or tejas even? we were there, WHERE WERE YOU!? anyway.. the drum beating that goes on throughout here has a pretty cool sound to it. i like the singing but the guitar part that is pretty much just doubling the vocal melody is pretty unimaginative sounding, sorry. but i like how you have interludes with full instrumentation and then drop back to the quieter parts. yay.

Hoblit :

8.2: this is nice, a bit spacccccccyyyyyy ( i know i know, like texas...), like the drums(prob best part) , break is somewhat dramtic, but as a song did nothing for me.. prop's for goin out of your element on this on. OK / DOWNLOAD

Lunkhead :

Nice mood right off the bat. Do you tune your electric guitars down to C# also? I like your vocal delivery, it really fits the mood. Hm, was that a pop in the mp3 around the 3rd beat of the 4th bar after the triplet drum fill leading into the instrumental section after the first batch of vox? The second batch of vox could use a bit more intensity I think to build the tension more. I wanna hear you scream, Chris Cornell style, that'd be cool. [Wink] The loud part is great, and I would have ended it with that, rather than dropping the dynamics back down. Good work though.
