SongFight Mix
This was done by my evil twin, Wosh Joodward. It's a cautionary tale.

Distortion on purpose or not? I like it though doesnt work for me all the time. Interesting energy and the drums smoke. Dreamy music wid da Reggae feel mon. Woa transition. Not sure it works, but Im willing to give it a chance. Nope doesnt work. Sometimes you should stay with where you were. I think that was one of those times although I see why you went. Sorry, didnt take me as far as others Ive heard from you Josh, but I love the transition in your writing. Good for that at least. No vote for you (heavy spanish accent)!Phil. Redmon.:
way to fucking go.![]()

you have a great sound, and talent. I didn't care for the lyrical direction, but the drums, bass, actually the whole istrumentation is excellent, I'm just not digging the vocals, which is odd cause on everything else I've heard from you so far, the vocals are what hooked me in, now its the instrumentation... interesting eccelectic changes... I sure didn't expect that from what I've heard of your other tunes (only a couple to be fair though!) Did someone else compare this to Jane's? cause I can hear that in this. Dangerous.Blue:
Is this Jane's Addiction? Mix is gorgeous, vocals annoy, chorus ends my interest. The Human Cello:
i can already tell this is gonna be sweet. i love how you say 'danger bussssssssss.' and now wosh is rocking out! this is really cool, now back to the original song. sweet ending! great job. (3rd)The Voice Inside Your Head:
on the first couple lines i thought you were doing a minnesota kind of scandinavian sounding accent, but then it turned out to be some flavour of middle eastern. either way, it's very fake sounding and unneccesary. the music -- the reverby tremoloey vibratoey bass and guitar and also the sweet sounding drums -- for the first minute and a half or so are awesome. the vocals sound good (minus the bad accent) too, i like how it's all echoey. but then comes "DANGER BUS!" and from then on all the vocals are just obnoxious. the music is decent when it goes into the punky faster part, but the second half of the song is just too disjointed, it sounds like you couldn't decide what style to make the song so you recorded a few bars of each and pasted them all together.JoshyBlue:
i like the guitar sounds a lot... very warm and alive sounding. drums sound great, especially the bass drum. i sort of like the vocals but the sort of faux-jamaican thing is kind of annoying too. the "dangerrrrr busss" thing in the weird voice was _very_ unexpected... which should make it good... and i did like the squeel after that. interesting as you seem to mostly be a great production man - but you can hear the clips of a few different parts there... which makes me think you might have left them in on purpose... i dont like the fast part that comes in at all. but the part at the end is great with the keys, loved that (not so much on the delay outro, althought it worked)... . i think there are some great ideas in here and some really cool production - but overall it didnt really work for me... i think i would have liked it to focus more on the tripped out spacy bits and have left out the "rockin" bit - just sounded out of place.King Arthur:
I guess the buzz on the guitar tracks is intentional, but... the song has the same "dangerous" feel I liked on Johnny C's song, but this is one I'll pass on...HeuristicsInc:
this is different. weird singing style. oh haha. this is funny, especially seeing who made it. rockin' part should be longer.
