Today's song is an acoustic tune with a banjo solo. While it has the same basic instrumentation as yesterday's happy little ditty, this song is the single ugliest monstrosity I've ever put to tape. In other words, it's a totally self-indulgent guilty pleasure. Enjoy. ;)

Production Notes:

There's nothing but my voice and a single acoustic guitar for most of the song, believe it or not. The solo instrument is a banjo, also believe it or not.

I was pretty haphazard with recording this one. The guitar that you hear is mostly just coming out of its pickup, running through Guitar Rig for some distortion. There's also a little bit of mic on it to capture the highs. The vocal goes through Guitar Rig, as does the solo banjo, which is recorded with its built-in pickup.

Ugly Monstrosity? I think not.

Call me crazy, but I really like this song. Its sound is very raw and powerful, and reminds me a bit of "I Want to Destroy Something Beautiful" in that sense.
