A sentimental favorite. Probably because it's Van Buren's only food place. Not the most brilliant food, but it's good. Sometimes only a breaded veal sandwich and a Reeses peanut butter cup flurry will do.

A great little place! We stopped there around 2003 on our way back to Fort Wayne, Indiana after visiting The Door Mouse in Bettsville, Ohio on an excursion to gather new quilting materials for Mom. One of those classic roadside stops that just oozes some of those elements that make America . . . America. Roadtrip, sunny afternoon, one of those heartwarming memories. I hope they are still open, as I hope to swing by again.
