Boy, I was just about to write our local newspaper with a pro-Kerry letter, but I just found out how easy our president makes it to write a pro-Bush letter instead. All you have to do is go to their letter generator, and point and click to assemble a letter out of their talking points. I don't even have to type anything myself! Let's see here..

Dear The Courier:

New job figures and other recent economic data show that America’s economy is strong and getting stronger – and that the President’s jobs and growth plan is working. The Labor Department announced that employers added 288,000 new jobs in April. In total, over 1.1 million jobs have been added since August, with 8 consecutive months of gains.

America has a choice: It can continue to grow the economy and create new jobs as the President’s policies are doing; or it can raise taxes on American families and small businesses, hurting economic recovery and future job creation.

See? I can sound exactly like all the other right-wing nuts who write editorials, and I don't even have to do anything. Sure, you might think that you've read it before, but you'd be wrong. Sorry, Kerry.. I actually have to think to support you. We all know that thinking is unamerican.

Dear The Courier:

New job figures and other recent economic data show that America’s economy is strong if you are rich and an executive for an oil company – and that the President’s jobs and growth plan is working. The Labor Department announced that employers added 288,000 crappy new jobs in April. In total, over 1.1 million crappy jobs have been added since August, not nearly offsetting the good jobs lost, with 8 consecutive months of gains if you ignore the bad news.

America has a choice: It can continue to grow the economy for the rich and create new WalMart jobs as the President’s policies are doing; or it can raise taxes on America's richest families, and give the middle class a break.
